Arginine & Ornithine
(Amino acids)
Growth Hormone,  Potency, Heart Health

Arginine/Ornithine helps stimulates the release of growth hormone, which is necessary for the proper functioning of burning fat and putting on muscle. Current studies support the use of arginine supplements to ensure that nitric oxide secretion is sufficient to keep blood flowing to the penis. Nitric oxide insufficiency can stop the penis from becoming erect.

A study published in 1994 showed an 80 percent improvement in the erectile function of men given 2.8 grams of arginine a day for two weeks.

Beta Sitosterol
Prostate

The oil constituents of a few plants, including soy beans, contain a mixture of phytosterols, or plant hormones, called beta sitosterol.  Research suggests that beta sitosterol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis thus reducing inflammation.

Studies validate a minimum of 20 mg. per day of beta sitosterol to increase urine flow and decrease residual urine volume significantly. Use at least 2 to 3 months to see results.

Deer Velvet Antler

Hormone Health, Stamina

It raises the hormones necessary for healthy sexual functioning and restores the body's energy levels depleted by stress or exhaustion.

Deer velvet antler is rich in amino acids and other major and trace elements which are vital for health and sexual well-being.

Niacin B-3
Heart, cholesterol, impotence, circulatory and erection problems

Helps clog arteries and blood flow. In men, too little blood flowing to the penis can cause another related problem—impotence.

1,500 to 3,000 milligrams a day of Flush Free

Ginkgo
Impotence, circulatory and erection problems

Heart disease, angina, stroke, intermittent claudication, depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Raynaud’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, head injuries, leg cramps, macular degeneration, tinnitus, impotence due to poor blood flow, clogged arteries, and diabetes-related nerve damage.

For treating any condition, ginkgo takes time to build up in your system. You may have to take the herb for weeks before you begin noticing the benefits. 60 mg. three times a day

Damiana
(Turnera diffusa)

Depression, sexual and hormonal problems

Helps to ease the cyclical depression and anxiety

It is generally recommended that 400-800 mg of damiana be taken three times daily

Saw Palmetto
(Sabal, Dwarf Fan Palm)
Prostate

Saw Palmetto is especially helpful to men suffering from prostate gland problems

Take on an empty stomach. A good source of various vitamins and minerals.

Golden Flax Oil
(Linum usitatissimum L.)
Prostate Health, Cholestorol, Arthritis, Skin Diseases, Immunity, and anti-inflammation

Flax seed oil has traditionally been recommended for men's health care as both of these essential fatty acids are precursors of prostaglandins which regulate blood pressure and inflammation.

The oil of the flax plant is one of nature's richest plant sources of the Omega 3 essential fatty acid, alpha linolenic acid (ALA) plus valuable linoleic fatty acid.

Pygeum Bark
(Pygeum africanum H.)
Prostate Cancer, anti-inflammatory

The bark of this tall African tree contains lipophilic sterols, including beta sitosterol and sitosterone plus unique fatty acids. These ingredients influence prostaglandin synthesis to help control the damaging effects of inflammation. Studies suggest that pygeum decreases androgen levels resulting in less prostate exposure to hormones.

The recommended dose is 50-100 mg two times per day. Pygeum should be monitored over at least a six- to nine-month period to determine efficacy.

Muira Puama
(Also known as liriosma)

Promotes virility and treats impotence

Current applications of muira puama center around its ability to boost libido. It may be of particular help to men suffering from impotency or erectile dysfunction. Muira puama has a mildly stimulating effect on some users. It may also be helpful for: stress and anxiety nervous exhaustion mild depression

Nettle
Allergies,   urinary problemsgout, hair loss, and prostate problems.

Nettle root extract is an effective treatment for urinary problems caused by BPH, but only when the prostate is slightly to moderately enlarged.

Nettle is also a good supportive therapy for inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract. All of these scientific conclusions fit with the traditional use of nettle as a diuretic
Sarsaparilla
(Smilax spp.)

Hormone Health, Cholesterol, and Skin Diseases
Sarsaparilla contains steroidal saponins, such as sarsasapogenin, which may mimic the action of some human hormones; this property remains undocumented. Sarsaparilla also contains phytosterols, such as beta-sitosterol, which may contribute to the therapeutic effects of this herb.
Capsules or tablets should provide at least 400-500 mg of Sarsaprilla root. Take 4-6 times per day.
Yohimbe
(yohimbine)
Increased libido as well as improving sexual performance

Researchers at Valparaiso University in Indiana found that yohimbine had more beneficial effects on most aspects of sexual response in men with erectile dysfunction than in sexually functional men, including an increase in the frequency of sexual activity and increased sexual arousal and erectile response during masturbation

1,000 to 3,000 mg daily Use at least 3 to 6 weeks to see results.

Zinc

Prostate health, sperm count

Zinc is often lacking in the American diet. Zinc is concentrated in the prostate gland and is a major constituent of seminal fluid and even a mild zinc deficiency can lower sperm count.
